XRculture at Immersive Heritage 2026

XRculture at Immersive Heritage 2026
Continuing the successful series of collaborations with other projects contributing to the deployment of the common European data space for cultural heritage, the XRculture team will present at the Immersive Heritage 2026 conference, organised by the Lip3D project and its consortium.

Taking place in Timisoara, Romania, from the 18th to the 20th of March, the conference Immersive Heritage 2026 is positioned as a meeting point for experts working at the intersection of digital cultural heritage and immersive technologies, with a programme spanning keynote sessions, workshops, demonstrations, exhibitions, policy dialogue, and scientific exchange.

We will contribute to the programme during Day 1 which is focusing on “Immersive Technologies for Cultural Heritage Preservation”. XRculture will be introduced to the audience during the morning workshop session. During lunch, the participants can meet the XRculture team members at the exhibition “Guided Tour of the XR Heritage Experience”, where we will present the latest results from the project. On the second day of the event, which is focused on “Serious games, Engagement & Cultural Storytelling”,  the XRculture team will be part of the Panel “Designing Interactive Heritage Experiences”, discussing the innovative pilots that are being deployed in the project (such as innovative cultural tourism experiences that leverage hologram postcards, mixed reality experiences for dispersed heritage).

We look forward to the conversations, collaborations, and ideas that will emerge from the event in Timișoara. You can still register to attend in-person or follow the presentations online.
